Fun fact: I have one of these hoodies for *every* Leadership Principle.

Bias for Action:
Speed matters in business. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not need extensive study. We value calculated risk taking.

Welcome back dear Interviewee! This time around I wanted to focus on one of the (if not *the*) most misunderstood leadership principles — Bias for Action.

Why? Mainly because most people assume that this equates to “moving fast”. It doesn't help that the other FAANG companies also have similar principles/values that emphasize the necessity of moving fast and creating impact.

But moving fast is just *one* aspect of biasing for action. The other (and arguably more) important component is for reasonable decisions to be made in a reasonable amount of time.
